The Plus Gardening team of Kim and Jeanette Murphy-Stewart, undertake outdoor tasks of a proud homeowner so that you may enjoy and enhance your outdoor lifestyle. We have a special interest in garden restoration to bring that garden back to it former glory.
Kim has a Pakeha family heritage of gardeners and horticulturalists. His life time exposure to the culture and heritage of gardening comes after a career in social work and social research.
Jeanette has a Maori family heritage of gardening collectively and home gardening to produce food. Her passion for gardening and care of the land comes with a background in community development, marketing and event management.
Kim and Jeanette supports and encourages natural gardens and gardening – the less we can use chemicals the better. So unless specified by my clients we will only use natural means – of weeding, digging, pruning and natural fertilizing to make gardens bloom.
Kim and Jeanette have specific interests in composting, vegetable gardening and native plants in gardens, plant recovery and propagation.
